PHANTOM OF THE BROOKLYN ARENA
Create an original adaptation of the classic Phantom of the Opera, set on Brooklyn’s biggest stage. From a pop star’s tour to the championship game, no event is safe from the Brooklyn phantom.
SHAKESPEARE’S THE WAY TO GO
Adapt a Shakespearian classic! Each class will participate in the June production of one of the Bard’s famous plays.

All classes @ Park Slope United Methodist Church (6th Ave & 8th St)

School Pickups Available from PS 321 and PS 39

CLASS SCHEDULE

All classes perform in both productions.

INTRO TO THEATER-MAKING & PERFORMANCE (Grades K-2)

MONDAYS 3:30 – 5:30 PM

Option to dismiss at 4:30 PM

Learn about live performance through active & enriching theater games.

Move, sing, and use imaginative play to create original scenes.

INTERMEDIATE THEATER-MAKING & PERFORMANCE (Grades 3-5)

TUESDAYS 3:30 – 5:30 PM

Late dismissal available

Hone performance skills!

Use acting, music, and movement to develop unique group work.

No previous theater experience necessary!

ADVANCED IMPROV & MUSICAL THEATER (Grades 5-8)

WEDNESDAYS 3:30 – 5:30 PM

Late dismissal available

A deep dive into White Bird’s signature approach!

Use improv techniques to develop original monologues, theatrical scenes, and musical compositions.

SET & COSTUME DESIGN WORKSHOP (Grades 2-6)

THURSDAYS 3:30 – 5:30 PM

Late dismissal available

Design props, sets, and costumes using up-cycled & unexpected materials.

Ideal class for both performers AND students who want to explore “behind the scenes” action.
