Creative Theatrics 
After-School Theater Programs

Theater classes for children that exercise the imagination and cultivate self-expression through age appropriate activities and games.

Act-A-Tale
Pre K & K
Mondays 3:30- 4:15 at PSUMC

Final Performance Tuesday, March 19th

Young actors play theater games, and invent and reinvent characters and stories.  Students apply their newfound skills in a short theatrical presentation at the end of the session.

Acting Workshop
1st and 2nd Grades
Mondays 4:30- 5:30

For 1st and 2nd graders who want to create characters and work as an ensemble developing a play.  Students will learn basic acting and theater terms, gain improvisational skills, and help write the play that they will perform at the end of the session.

Performance Ensemble
3rd- 6th Grades
Tuesdays   3:30 - 5:30      
January 8th – March 19th
Final Performance Tuesday, March 19th

A two  hour class for young performers who find joy in developing a high level of performance.  Students work closely with teaching artists to create an original theatrical work based on a literary or theater classic.  A performance is presented at the end of the session.

Puppetry and Design Workshop
3rd- 7th Grades
Thursdays   3:30 – 5:30     
January 3rd – March 19th
Final Performance Tuesday, March 19th

Introduces students to the basics of technical theater.  With our professional puppeteer, students work to design and create sets, props and puppets for the Performance Ensemble production at the end of the session.   
$350
